Please note: A minimum of TWO sessions must be booked.
Please can we also make you aware that any early drop-offs or late pick-ups will be charged as stated in your contract. All children must be out of the building by 6pm. We ask that you arrive at 5:50pm to allow for handover, unless late pick-up has been previously arranged.
Government Funding
If you’re a working parent, you may be able to get 30 hours of free childcare a week if your child is aged 9 months to 4 years old. You’ll get these 30 hours for 38 weeks of the year (term-time).
For children attending all year round we stretch this funding across the entire year equating to 22 hours per week.
All 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of free early education or childcare per week.

It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure they reconfirm their code each 3 months.
To remain transparent, sustainable, and fair to all families, we have carefully reviewed the cost of the consumable items we provide throughout the year, such as craft materials, wipes, tissues, sensory play items, and other resources essential to your child’s learning and care.
Based on the figures, we offer the voluntary options to make a small termly contribution or for families to donate an item from a chosen list.
There is a small contribution towards meals and snacks which is not optional.
PLEASE NOTE: This is ONLY applicable to children the term after their 3rd Birthday.

Frequently asked questions
We offer a 10% discount for children attending a full week (five full days). We also offer a discount for siblings. This discount will be applied to the second child’s sessions if both children are attending. Please see fee policy for more details.
Stanstead Mill Day Nursery is registered for the government funding for 3 and 4 year olds, offering 30 free hours of childcare a week (subject to eligability). We also offer government funding for 2 year olds.
We provide the same level of care and education that you will find at any other nursery school.
Fees will be due by the 10th of each month payable by direct bank transfer or cash. All fees must be paid for the month in advance.
In order to reserve your child’s place, please complete our registration forms. Once completed, please submit these forms with a £100 registration fee.
One months fees will be required in advanced. This can be paid in instalments but must be settled to reserve your child’s space. The deposit will be held against your account and used towards your last month’s fee with us.
We regret that under no circumstance will the registration fee or deposit will be refunded.
